Welcome to the immigration minute from Kidambi & Associates. This week, we would like to discuss Requests for Additional Evidence, commonly known as RFEs. Specifically RFEs issued in H-1B cases.
Most RFEs are random and based on boilerplate checklists made available to adjudication officers, who then use them to generate consistently worded requests for additional evidence. However, some RFEs are triggered by the information provided on the petition. One sure way to reduce the number of RFEs issued is to provide us with the most recent and accurate information about yourself. In an effort to collect the most recent information, we request that all of our clients update their Employer Information with us at the earliest.
Thank you for listening; there will be more to come next week.
