I am a practicing attorney with extensive and diverse experience in the areas of corporation law, taxation, business services and commercial transactions. I represent closely-held businesses and their owners in all aspects of entity formation, mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, reorganizations, as well as venture capital and private equity investment, commercial lending, real property and equipment leasing, technology licensing and other business matters. I advise business entities on matters of employment, entity governance, and investor relations.
As a tax practitioner, I provide counsel to businesses and individuals in matters of Federal and state tax planning, and assist multinational clients in the tax-efficient investment and participation in U.S. businesses. I represent taxpayers in administrative and judicial tax controversies involving Federal and state income, sales and other taxes, and assist property owners throughout Connecticut in municipal ad valorem tax appeals.
