KIDAMBI & ASSOCIATES, P.C. is proud to announce that the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) has elected Yasmin Blackburn, a Senior Attorney with the Firm as an Elected Director for the 2025-2028 term.
As you are aware, Attorney Yasmin Blackburn leads the PERM Practice Group at Kidambi & Associates, PC; she guides companies, nonprofit organizations, universities, and entrepreneurs in preparing and submitting non-immigrant and immigrant petitions. Her extensive experience extends to among other things, marriage-based immigration, and Naturalization.
Yasmin previously served on the Department of Labor Committee and the Annual Awards Committee for AILA. She is currently the Chair of the National Equity and Belonging Committee. She has served as a speaker for AILA at both the national and local levels on immigration and equity and belonging matters.
Yasmin has served on many Boards over the years including the Girl Scouts of Connecticut, the Junior League, Afroresistance, the Milford Bank and Cooperative Educational Services.
Ms. Blackburn graduated with Honors from Iowa State University, with a B.A. in English and History, and an MA in English. She holds a J.D. from The Beasley School of Law at Temple University. She is admitted to practice in New York. She lives between New York and Connecticut with her wonderful son and exceptional daughter.
