Is travel permitted during H-1B transfer and related questions

I am on H1B and working for Company A. I have accepted the offer of company B and they would apply for transfer in end of Jan or first week of Feb.

Also i am planning to visit India in Last week of Feb and come back in start of April .

Following are my Questions:

1. During transfer can i be out of country?

— Since you are already in H-1B status, you are allowed to leave the country once the transfer petition has been filed.

2. Will i have to get my visa stamped again while reentering if the transfer is approved?

— Not if you have a valid visa to re enter the U.S. Visas are not employer specific.

3. If the transfer is approved while reenter then can i show them the H1b petition of previous employer.

— You should carry both the approval from the previous employer and the receipt/approval from the new employer.
