On September 28th, the Service made an announcement to automatically extend Green Card validity during a pending extension to 24 Months. The Service also announced that it began printing amended receipt notices for individuals with a pending Form I-90. While this is a welcome development, one begins to wonder how long it should take for the USCIS to renew a Green Card?
